Ms. Best is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Hartford office. She has over 28 years of business operations and office management experience. Among her responsibilities at Smith Whiley are the production, distribution and quality control for the Firm's reports to the limited partners of the managed funds.
Prior to joining Smith Whiley & Company, Ms. Best served as a business consultant to a variety of small businesses, providing outsourced administrative services such as bookkeeping, database management, marketing and administrative support.
Ms. Best currently serves on the boards of the Bloomfield Education Foundation, Girl Scouts and on the Bloomfield PTO. She is a Reserve Officer in the U.S. Navy.
Ms. Best has a B.B.A. from the University of North Texas and an M.B.A. from Amberton University.
