TEAM
Ms. Huet is responsible for deal flow development, investment selection, structuring, and portfolio management. She is a member of Smith Whiley's Investment Committee and also serves as a board oberserver for certain of the partnerships’ portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Smith Whiley, Ms. Huet spent over 20 years in the financial services, banking and manufacturing sectors. She held positions as Senior Underwriter and Account Manager at Bank of America. While there, she structured, underwrote, closed and managed asset-based financings totaling over $1 billion in the Midwest and Canada. Transactions ranged in size from $10 million to $250 million. Prior to joining Bank of America, Ms. Huet held a variety of of financial management and due diligence positions with GE Capital. She began her career in General Electric's Transportation Systems Division where she held positions in manufacturing analysis and systems. During her career, she has directed investments in food and beverage, distribution, retail, manufacturing, metals processing, and service industries.
Ms. Huet has a B.S. with Distinction in Finance from Pennsylvania State University including international studies at the University of Cologne in Germany. She is also a graduate of General Electric's Financial Management Program.
